Projekat OBELISK - eterske hronike Aristodija Babuna, nastaje bezmalo više od 40 godina.

Naravno, ja to nisam planirao. Kao tinejdžer, počeo sam da sviram gitaru i pravim pesme, koje nikada nisu snimljene i objavljene, iako sam povremeno svirao u bendovima. Takvo je bilo vreme, takva je bila moja generacija: muzika nam je bila izuzetno važna, kao i svim mladim ljudima širom sveta, kao možda i najvažnije sredstvo individuacije i ličnog razvoja.

Pesme su nastajale i menjale se, čekale formu koja će ih poređati u celinu. Jednostavno, osećao sam da su one deo nečeg višeg, nekog još nevidljivog projekta. Kada sam definitivno odustao od ideje da budem profesionalni muzičar, radio sam povremeno i dalje na pesmama, ali sam pisao i stihovne i prozne celine, koje će se mnogo kasnije kristalisati kao jezgro samog dela.

Nakon godina, profilisao se koncept zagrobnog simpoziona, razgovora, pevanja i recitovanja na jednoj posebnoj sceni, zvanoj Arheopolis, koju ispunjavaju ljudi mrtvi za ovaj naš život i poimanje, ali sposobni da se sećaju i komuniciraju. Oni se nadaju pozivu na dalje duhovno usavršavanje, pozivu u hram koji se nalazi na bregu iznad pozornice, u Hram kuće Ruže. 

Do tada, do poziva, oni se okupljaju tu na sceni Arheopolisa, sa ostalim stanovnicima Grada dugih senki, njihovog naselja, pričaju svoje priče i pevaju pesme, apsolvirajući svoje zemne živote i pouke stečene iskustvima, za koje se nadaju da će biti dovoljne za dalje duhovno usavršavanje.

Pojava AI softvera za muziku, konačno je omogućila da se sve te pesme realizuju, i dobiju najbliži mogući željeni oblik. Uz www.suno.com, moje melodije i tekstovi su konačno dobili odelo dovoljno kvalitetno da se postave na OBELISK by Vasa Domazet - YouTube

  BEHIND THE MUSIC

 

The OBELISK project - the etheric chronicles of Aristodije Babun, has been in the making for almost 40 years.

Of course, I hadn't planned it that way. As a teenager, I started playing guitar and writing songs, which were never recorded or released, although I occasionally played in bands. That was the time, that was my generation: music was extremely important to us, as it was to young people all over the world, perhaps as the most important means of individuation and personal development.

Songs came and went, waiting for a form that would bring them together into a whole. I simply felt that they were part of something greater, of some as-yet unseen project. When I finally gave up on the idea of becoming a professional musician, I still worked on songs now and then, but I also wrote both poetic and prose works, which much later would crystallize as the core of the very piece.

After years, the concept of an afterlife symposium took shape—a gathering for conversation, singing, and recitation on a special stage called Arheopolis, inhabited by people who are dead to this life and perception, but still able to remember and communicate. They hope for a call to further spiritual improvement, an invitation to the temple located on the hill above the stage, in the Temple of the House of the Rose. Until that call, they gather here on the stage of Arheopolis with the other residents of the City of long shadows, their settlement, sharing their stories and singing songs, completing their earthly lives and the lessons learned from their experiences, hoping these will be enough for further spiritual growth. In short, this is the main plot of the work, whose texts and music you can explore on the channels OBELISK by Vasa Domazet - YouTube, both on YouTube and Spotify. The advent of AI music software has finally made it possible to realize all these songs and bring them as close as possible to the desired form.

With www.suno.com , my melodies and lyrics have finally received attire of sufficient quality to be showcased on OBELISK by Vasa Domazet - YouTube , based on uploads of earlier recordings I made in the CUBASE program (by no means good enough), as well as melodies and lyrics of other songs, played and sung personally into a microphone.

It’s like having an all-powerful band that instantly brings your ideas, melodic lines, and lyrics to life. This is how I see the primary significance of AI music generators – to enable creators who, due to their lifestyle, are unable to form a band and live the life of a professional musician. All other dilemmas regarding AI music, both legal and economic, will be resolved over time.
